Who We Are — A Group Exhibition of Photography, Fashion and Film
October 11 – 13, 2024 | Truvark Art Gallery, Port Harcourt

Who We Are is a group exhibition presented at Truvark Art Gallery, Port Harcourt, bringing together three distinct creative voices from the city, each working in a different medium, each telling a different story, and each united by a shared belief in the power of their craft to express identity and human possibility.
The title is both simple and intentional. Who We Are is a question as much as it is a statement an invitation to look at what people create and understand something deeper about who they are, where they come from, and what they are capable of.
Exhibiting Artists:
Chukwudi Nwachukwu – Photography
A fine art photographer based in Port Harcourt, Chukwudi’s work explores the relationship between people and the environments that shape them. His series Soft Bodies, Hard Worlds presented as part of this exhibition examines emotional intimacy, vulnerability, and the quiet tensions surrounding femininity through restrained, natural light portraiture.
Nnamaka Uzoho – Film
A self-taught film director based in Port Harcourt, Nnamaka brings a raw and instinctive visual storytelling approach to her work, exploring human experience through the moving image.
Ataisi-Ogute – Fashion
A creative director and fashion enthusiast based in Port Harcourt, Ataisi uses fashion as a medium for cultural expression and identity, presenting clothing and styling as a form of visual art in its own right.
Together, their work forms a dialogue across disciplines, photography, film, and fashion — each asking the same fundamental question in a different language: who are we, and what are we capable of?
